Where Do Toxins Come From?
Toxins can derive from chemical pollutants, heavy metals, pesticides, drugs, alcohol, active/passive cigarette smoking and food additives. However, toxins can also come from normal metabolism and instestinal build -up of unhealthy bacteria within your own body.
Toxins damage cells, disrupt our endocrine systems, and impair the body's ability to absorb nutrients and heal itself. When it comes to exposure to toxins, the body cannot metabolize most of the poisons it is exposed to.
The IonCleanse® provides the most thorough and efficient way to cleanse and purify the body. It is more effective and faster than any herbal or fasting protocols.
Get OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE and take action!
Ridding your body of these harmful toxins with a series of detoxification sessions with the IonCleanse® will put you on the road of Making "A Major Difference" in Your Health!
We are living in the most polluted environment in Earth's known history. We are continually inhaling and assimilating residues from petrochemicals, plastics, and pesticides that occupy cell receptor sites and block hormone utilization.

· The average city water contains more than 500 chemicals

· Multiple studies show that most of us have between 300-800 chemical residues stored in the fat cells of our bodies
· Pesticide residues are detectable in 50-95% of the food consumed in the U.S.
Toxins damage cells, disrupt our endocrine systems, and impair the body's ability to absorb nutrients and heal itself. When it comes to exposure to toxins, the body cannot metabolize most of the poisons it is exposed to. Most of these toxins remain in the body for many years, stored in the fat cells that exist throughout the body.
How TOXIC is Your Home?
The typical American home contains 3-10 GALLONS of toxic materials – everything from glass and bathroom cleaners to garden pesticides and fertilizers. Health effects of ingredients in common household products include:
- Respiratory problems
- Eye irritation
- Disruption of the endocrine system
The (EPA) reports that the air inside the typical home is 2-5 times more polluted than the air immediately outside – and in extreme cases, 100 times more contaminated
Cosmetics – 16,000 Studies Document the Hazards of SLS
According to the Environment Working Group's Skin Deep: Cosmetic Safety Reviews, research studies on SLS have shown links to: Irritation of the skin and eyes, organ toxicity, developmental/reproductive toxicity, neurotoxicity, endocrine disruption, ecotoxicology, and cellular changes, possible mutations and cancer.
Getting Down on Dirty Detergents
The average family washes appoximately 80 pounds of laundry per week. This means that 17.5 billion cups of laundry detergent are being used every year in the U.S. alone. Not only can you come in contact with caustic chemicals via laundered clothing, but you can breathe them into your lungs once they become airborne when you do your laundry.
Be Concerned About 1,4-Dioxane
Dioxane (also called 1,4-dioxane) is a byproduct of an industrial process used to make cleaning ingredients, and can contaminate your personal care and cleaning products. Dioxane is a byproduct of ethoxylation," a cheap shortcut process companies use to provide mildness to harsh cleaing ingredients." Since it is a byproduct rather than ingredient, it doesn't have to be listed on product labels. But you really DON'T want to have your skin coming into contact with this agent, byproduct or not. 1,4-dioxane is considered by the State of California to cause cancer. It has been found to be potentially toxic to your brain and central nervous system, kidneys, liver, and respiratory system, according to the CDC.
Air Quality Facts
Air pollution is a serious health threat. It sends people to the hospital, shapes how kids' lungs develop, and can even be deadly.
Air pollution hovers at unhealthy levels in almost every major city, threatening people's ability to breathe and placing lives at risk.
Breathing in particle pollution can increase the risk of early death, heart attacks, strokes and emergency room visits for people with asthma, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
The most widespread kinds of air pollution are ozone (smog) and particle pollution (soot). Breathing either can harm your body and risk your life.
When inhaled, ozone irritates the lungs, resulting in something like a bad sunburn within the lungs.
About one in 17 people in the United States lives in an area with unhealthy year-round levels of fine particle pollution.
Even with the growing "green movement," air pollution in some parts of our country actually got worse since last year's report.
People who work or exercise outside face increased risk from the effects of air pollution.
More than half of all Americans live in areas with unhealthy levels of air pollution.
18.5 million Americans live in countries where the outdoor air failed all three tests covered in the State of the Air report.
TOXICITY in our World
Did you know….
Air fresheners are made from neurotoxic solvents and synthetic fragrances that can cause headaches, mood swings, memory loss, and chronic fatigue?
Pre-packaged lettuce is washed in a chlorine solution twenty times more concentrated than that found in an average pool?
Mouthwash containing alcohol is associated with an increased risk of throat and mouth cancers?
The artificial sweetener aspartame breaks down into carcinogenic formaldehyde during storage in the body.
Flea and tick control products can expose people to pesticides 500 times greater than the recommended safe limits?
Microwave popcorn contains a flavoring chemical that is a relative of paint stripper?
A Wake up Call…
Pesticides and other chemicals in animals and/or humans have been reported to alter systems.
Toxins are altering the development of the unborn leading to miscarriages, stillbirths, birth abnormalities and delays in normal development. At least 2 million children presently suffer from developmental, learning and behavioral difficulties.
Each year the U.S. EPA reviews an average of 1,700 new compounds that industries are seeking to introduce. The 1976 Toxic Substances Control Act requires that they be tested for any ill effects before approval only if evidence of potential harm exists – which is seldom the case for new chemicals. The agency approves about 90% of the new compounds without restrictions. Only a quarter of the 82,000 chemicals in use in the U.S. have ever been tested for toxicity.
Systems of the Body Affected by Toxins
The immune system causing an increased tendency to allergies and recurrent respiratory (nose, sinus or lung) or ear infections.
The defense systems of human bodies making them prone to cancer. (Infants and young children, as well as adults, are presently developing cancer at an alarming rate)
The brain and nervous system causing headaches, difficulty thinking or remembering, inexplicable emotional ups and downs, inconsolable depression, irritability, moodiness, aggression, hyperactivity or extreme fatigue
The reproductive system causing a wide variety of sexual problems and infertility
The endocrine system contribution to illnesses such as Diabetes, Thyroid Disease and weakened adrenal glands
The muscular system causing twitches, tics, muscle pains or weakness, in time possibly leading to Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Parkinson's Disease
The skeletal system causing chronic swelling and stiffness that eventually leads to pain and permanent joint deformities
The heart and circulatory system causing high blood pressure or irregular heart beats
The blood vessels causing abnormal bleeding into the skin, joints, breasts, urine and elsewhere
